Markets

Every week, the city comes alive with local producers and merchants:

  • Twice-weekly market on Wednesday and Friday mornings in place des Trois Évêchés and rue Jeanne d’Arc: textiles, food, etc.
  • Farmers’ market on Saturday mornings in rue Gambetta: local flavors, fresh seasonal produce, etc.

Supermarkets

For an impromptu picnic, a snack or a last-minute need, there are several supermarkets within walking or driving distance of the city center: Lidl just a stone’s throw from the Porte Moselle, Super U next to the Arsenal hall and Carrefour along the canal towards Colombey-les-Belles.
