Exceptional closure
For administrative and technical reasons, the Maison du tourisme Terres Touloises will be closed from April 26 to May 3 inclusive.
You’ll find maps of Toul and our main brochures at the entrance to the cathedral. You can also consult and download them on our page “our brochures”.
Until we reopen, here’s some practical information to help you quickly access your most common requests.

The weekend of May 1-3, 2026 will be marked by a number of events for which we usually receive special requests.

From May 1st
The Fort de Villey-le-Sec is reopening. It can be visited every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday until August 31, then on Sundays in September. The tour starts at 3pm and lasts 2h30. Don’t miss our summer events, evening visits and storytelling evenings.
Saturday, May 2nd
La Vogu’à Toul is a nautical promenade for lovers of floating craft (canoe, kayak, dragon boat, rowing, paddle). To take part in this event as a sailor, registration is open until April 26. To watch the boats depart, the race starts at 8:30 a.m. from Pierre-la-Treiche in the direction of Toul, with a return trip in the afternoon. The course is set at the participants’ own pace.
Saturday 2 and
Sunday May 3
Don’t miss VénissimoToul’s Venetian carnival! Costumed carnival-goers stroll freely around the cathedral and town hall. A parade takes place on Saturday from 3pm in the streets of Toul (details of the route on the dedicated page). Numerous events are also on offer throughout the weekend.
Saturday, May 2nd
Les Vitrines Touloises offers a night market. In Toul’s shopping district, you’ll find an unpacking area for shopkeepers and craftsmen, as well as a wide range of activities to keep the day lively. Stores will be open until 10pm. Please note that the streets are closed to traffic.
Sunday May 3rd
The braderie de Toul takes place in the town center. Stalls and entertainment all day long. The shopping district is closed to traffic.
Sunday May 3rd
The Vieux Canton Fort in Villey-Saint-Etienne offers a guided tour at 2pm. Hosted by the volunteers who maintain and enhance the site, the tours are full of humor and good humor. Access to the fort is detailed on the dedicated page.
